The State of Qatar has ranked 1st globally among 137 countries on the second edition of the Digital Accessibility Rights Evaluation (DARE) Index 2020, which has been released by the Global Initiative for Inclusive Information and Communication Technologies (G3ict), a UN initiative, scoring 89/100. The Rank indicates the country’s progress in implementing digital accessibility across key sectors in compliance with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) which has been ratified by the State of Qatar in the year 2008.
